Student Program
Interns from the profession of social work, counseling, and occupational therapy are entrusted with significant clinical responsibility in the major modalities of individual, group, family, and activity therapies. Interns are invited to be contributors to our multi-disciplinary treatment team. They will also find the team to be supportive when facing challenging situations. In addition to intensive supervision, there is opportunity to observe all of the clinical staff in action, discuss clinical cases with the team, and participate in seminars with our consulting psychiatrist. Interns will learn the essential clinical skills of their profession, skills in developing respectful relationships with diverse clients, and how to work in the broader social context in which clients function.
